1966 1st 2nd 3rd Ford put Ferrari in their place.

Friend at work as got a replica GT40 in Gulf paint job it looks absolutely stunning, it always turns me green with envy when he brings it into work occasionally.

Fords GT40 wow even after all those years have gone by, its still one of my all time favourite cars of all time.

New job looks jaw dropping as well, would love to see Ford back at Le Mans completing with a completive car.

Wow, that's hawt sawce!!
There are a couple of iconic shapes in automotive history, the Ford GT40 being one of them. Can't think of another example where the new car makes such a strong case for itself as a successor. Maybe the 993 as the new Porsche 911 in 1993? I keep my fingers crossed for Renault Alpine doing exactly the same.

I dig the orange. Love the GT, glad they didn't screw it up!!

Will they race this in LeMans?

So they will cheat again like last time.
Outspent a virtual mom and pop company 10 to 1. Then left to make exploding Pintos and Mustang II's

Wonder what the value of an original GT40 is compared to a Ferrari 250 GTO or 250 LM.

Let's compare the Pinto's fire/explosion rate, to Ferrari's road cars' record, and then get back to me.

5 458m compared to a design fault Ford knew about but refused to fix.
Not to mention the Bronco 2 rollover.
Or the Explorer with its delaminating tires.
Ok Mr Edsel.

Porsche has had fires too btw.
Like the side mount fuel tanks??

This is too good. You think Ferrari isn't aware of its numerous design flaws that cause their poorly engineered cars to catch fire?

Yes they are aware of the design flaw one one model and have fixed it.
As have Porsche with theirs.

Unlike Ford did with the Pinto, Bronco 2 or Explorer.

Poorly engineered? At least Ferrari's wins are actually Ferrari's.
Ford are the great Cheque writers, Be it to Lola, Mirage, or Cosworth.
