Citing unnamed source, Cadillac Society reports that a manual transmission will not be offered on the non-Blackwing version of the CT4-V.

First revealed in late May 2019. The CT4-V is a slightly hotter version of the CT4, which is powered by a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine making 320 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.

At launch, there was no suggestion of a manual transmission, but rumors swirled over the last year. This week, Cadillac announced that the CT4-V Blackwing would get a manual transmission, but it will reportedly be limited to that (also reportedly) V6 model.

The current CT4-V comes with a 10-speed automatic and the option of either RWD or AWD. A mechanical rear-differential will keep the back-end in check and even in AWD-trim it will have torque bias that leans rearward.
