The next Corvette Z06 will feature a wing that dwarfs the current ZR1's wing, according to a report from GM Authority.

Citing unnamed sources familiar with the Z06 project, the publication claims that the wing will create more downforce than the ZR1's chonky wing, while generating less drag-which is a win-win.

Oddly, the report claims that the wing will not resemble the already quite large wing used on the C8.R. Instead, it will more closely resemble the one used on the Koenigsegg Agera RS.

Although the report doesn't mention active wings, it's worth mentioning that the Agera RS's wing does move, which could explain how the Z06 would get more downforce and less drag.

Chevrolet is still debating whether or not to make the wing standard equipment, but the team is reportedly leaning towards making it standard equipment.

Reports claim that the Z06 will make around 600 hp via a 5.5-liter V8 with a flat-plane crank, and it should also get improved suspension and brakes.
