You have to love their mentality when they give you
an SCCA membership and then void your warranty if
you actually decide to use the membership. It sucks!

If you do damage to your car by racing, why should the manufacturer foot the bill?
Same as with computers. If you overclock your CPU and it blows, don't try complaining to Intel.

The onus is on the manufacturer to prove that you were racing, before they deny any work. Having your name on a racing list makes their job pretty easy.
