Put Hummer under Chevrolet?

I was just thinking if this was possible: To cut the number of GM brands, the Hummer brand itself could die, but the H2 and H3 will be put under Chevy. However, they will not have any Chevy badges, much like the Corvette which, although a Chevy, can almost be a brand by itself.

I'd say, give the H3 to GMC and call it a day.

When I first read the Thread Title, I thought "I just got a Silverado Hummer!"
