Why not just augment what you have with a HHO generator? If your preferance is for bolt on, consider a supergen. Check it out on Youtube.

Use the excess alternator energy to produce electrolysis, just like a car battery.

A ford dealer in Canada had trucks that could be converted to run on propane back in the eighties. its a pretty novel idea but i don't want to be around when said vehicle gets into an accident and we all get to see the explosive nature of propane gas

well our super duty fleet works with propane since before 2000 dont know the exact year, I remember the 2001 fleet of 250 runned on propane only and the 06 250 runs in gas and propane since my steppop gets one everytime the fleet is renewed and the boss has a F150 HD supercharged running on propane too

Why go to propane when gas is only slightly higher? You know propane will go up along with gas eventually. It would seem like a poor investment although I don't know how much a conversion would cost you.
The one and only local place I've priced has propane at $3.30/gallon, and gas is at $4.30 a gallon.

My Dad had a '79 3/4 ton GMC that he converted to run on Propane, I believe it wasn't much more than jets in the carb and a propane tank, and he ran that for probably 15 years.
