I know, I was trying something different, and figured, the large headlamps can be used as well, after seeing the 09 Honda Fit which has a huge headlamps. I guess it does not work on the Sports coupes. I loosely based the front end with the Solstice a bit while not the same and a bit uglier that the Solstice, also, the perspective, I am still fighting with it, so.....

I think you should get rid of the lines under the headlights. Leave just headlights and grille. That'd make it very clean, like the Solstice is.

Well, that line suppose to be a turn signal, I was like, how about moving the Solstice's small turn signals up and in LED in longer form that may make it sportier. Well, I know, it didn't turn out any good. Oh well....

New one. I have reduced the size of the headlights, reduced the size of the turn signal and tried to make the overall shape unique, though it didn't turn out that way. The rear view, I only drew half since whenever I draw the whole, it just doen't look right and tends to tilt. The black shading for the back is the back grille that I have burrowed from Ferrari F40 and modified a bit and put the tail-lights in between.

Hopefully, this one look better to most of you, though I am still fighting with the proportion and the various errors it has as usual. I am still not happy with it, so I need further tips from you experts what to correct.

Thanx.

Grand Prix, I want to challenge you. Take the idea of a new Fiero and on whatever size sheet of paper you have, draw multiple variations of your design. Just doodle various thoughts and ideas that come to you. Don't draw the entire vehicle but concentrate on new grill, headlight, taillight, intake, window, door handles, ect, shapes. Then once you've done this then pick you best ideas and put them together. DON"T be happy with your first sketch, draw MANY varitations. Go through reams (well, maybe not reams) of paper to show your design process then draw out your final thought. You'll be amazed at what you can come up with.

OK, I tried to follow what you have said. I have drawn bunch of ideas for the headlights and grilles on a seperate paper, and put them together of the ones I think came out alright. However, when I put them together, a disaster happened. They all turned out even worse. As you said, "don't be happy with the first drawings", so I guess I may still need to practice more. These crappy new ones are actually, a step back in my honest opinion, the proportion sucks, and the overall shape is just *UGH* Thanx for the tips btw, I will probably give another shot later.

For the next two, I burrowed the rear quarter window design from the Pagani Zonda coupes, but it still didn't do a good job making it look unique nor any sportier. I guess, I may have to think more for a better design myself.
