the idea is that GM boosts its Japan line of vehicles significantly, beating Toyota at its own game on its own turf.
Here's the first car of the lineup.
It serves as the starting point for other vehicles on the same setup (a truck is in the works).
Key features on all cars:
-Front tires stick out several inches from the front bumper, same with the rear. Prevents fender benders in gridlock/city driving.
-Front fascia and rear have the same curvature/radius/shape. This minimizes body damage in minor accidents without excessive speed should the tires not line up/break off as designed.
-Electric motor, same as what's in the Volt.
-The option of less battery capacity (think V8 vs V6 vs 4) is available for those that dont need it, reducing weight, adding storage.
-One-way tinted glass for added visibility front and rear, but maintains privacy.
I had considered making the cars wider then they are long, probably need four-wheel steer. It would help ease traffic by maximizing the road surfaces.
