My girlfriend spilled juice on this drawing; I photoshopped it out as much as I could in 5 minutes and posted it anyway.

Ford Crown Victoria

Lincoln Town Car

Ford should be retiring the Panther platform soon. Not sure if it'll be gone by 2010, but I'm sure if they had decent replacements ready, they'd at least bring them forward and sell the remaining Panthers as "Crown Victoria Classic" or something, like Chevrolet did with a few models.

Aussie Ford Falcons have been spotted around Detroit. I'll quietly, optimistically assume they're mules for new RWD American models. These, maybe. I tried to make sure the Ford was a proper evolution of Euro, Aussie, and American Ford design, and I looked at the Interceptor concept as well. For the Lincoln I took reference from the recent concepts, while remaining clean and conservative (remember, it's a Town Car).

I'm trying to take my time and be a little cleaner with my drawing (the Crown Vic is an exception, considering the spill). I'm thinking they'd look even better if I quit shading them, but I have trouble conveying complex surfacing with just lines. Oh well, I'll figure it out.

I really like the Crown Vic it looks way better than the 2010 Taurus (it even looks more like a Ford than the new Taurus does), but i'm not so sure about the Town Car i think its too sharp to be conservative, but anyway both ideas are great and the quality is even better ;-D

I like both, the size is really awesome. Though I prefer the Lincoln, for I am not too crazy about Ford's new grille these days. Maybe it's just me.

These are a zillion times better than the crap coming out of Ford NA in the last long while. It's along the same lines, which I don't much care for, but they actually look good.

i really like the crown vic, great looking. however, i dont think it works for the crown vic. as for the town car, not bad, but i just dont like lincolns new front end treatment
Those are my sentiments. I like what he's done here, but I don't like what he had to work with in the first place.

The roofline is too low. Makes for a nice sporty look, but big family sedans and big family luxury sedans need to be practical.

The 300, Magnum, and Charger look sweet. But I don't know anyone personally that owns one, and I have two friends that were going to buy them but changed their mind because of the visibility.

Nice job. Roofline's a little low though. And it looks more like a Chrysler 300 competitor than a Crown Vic replacement.
(psssst! A Crown Vic replacement would be a 300 competitor)

Great Job! Zulehan!!!*

think the roofline is just a matter of the wheelbases being a tad too short (esp. the Lincoln) that sounds unrelated but looks fine with a little stretching...
&
had a similar 'over-reaction'(?) with roof changing on an old CV chop
also
the current CV is over a foot longer the 300, if Ford did** have a Rwd the same size as the Chrylser, no one would ever compare it to the CV

* 'course you're missing the Main one imho ;)
** they will!!!

Maybe. I'm not a big fan of the 300 though.
And I couldn't see this having a light bar or a taxi sign.
The light bar, I easily could. The taxi sign, maybe.

Zulehan, hop to it! :D

And Merc is dead, don't waste the paper on it.

Seriously?

The 300 and Charger are fine if you PUT THE SEAT LOW. I have as much visability in them as I do in my Saab. Besides the back seats are HUGE.

BTW, sweet drawings.

We've got a new class of cars in the US now, the full-size, RWD 25k+ cars. Charger, 300, G8, and now Ford is bringing Falcons up here. I would think Ford would kill two birds with one stone and replace its worn out old Panther cars with US versions of their new Falcons, which would compete in this class. So yeah, I'd say it's a 300 competitor.

I would hope the Town Car could compete with at least the STS, even though it'd be a little late, since Cadillac is already about to replace its DTS and STS with an even better car.

Yup. Front view was fine, but blind spots and the rear the windows were smaller than they liked. One ended up getting a used BMW 530, and the other (who had looked at the Magnum) couldn't find any other wagon he liked so he got a used MDX.
