Why didn't you just blend the insignia's nose with the (obviously the Insignia) GTC Concept's body?

I wish I had your (or anybody's) photoshopping skills! I've always wanted to take some 70s US cars and see what they'd look like without those huge 5mph bumpers!...

Actually you picked up on a mistake. I left the rear shut-line of the door curving forwards whereas on coupes they curve backwards, making the door skin longer. I'll fix it when I make any further changes to it....

I don't think it needs a longer door ... I think you need to shorten the wheelbase about 8 inches.

I'd just like
- the rearside window shortened a bit (tho understand the cost wouldn't be worth it)
- everything behind the B 'pillar' shortened slightly (^but^ times 10)

I disagree that it should be shortened in any way. I like your first one better. I don't think it'd be worth the cost to shorten the wheelbase.

Insignia's rear-headroom-cancelling roofline and too-short-wheelbase just begs to be used as a coupe. The car gives me a BMW 6er vibe after your mods - and the 6er was my original idea how the modern-day Riviera should be designed (the other one would be Audi A5, but with Buick getting an Insignia version as the "Invicta", the Insignoid coupe would make more sense).

You absolutely need to move the B-pillar back.

That front view makes it look very BMW-ish...which is a VERY good thing.
