I was comming back on 94-W into Detroit this morning and I saw what I thought at first was an Astra till it passed me....a silver Corsa OPC with mfgr plates! This car is badass! Obviously testing to bring it here as a Saturn im guessing....

I love the looks of this...very nice and sporty for a small economy car. I think it would be wise for Saturn to offer it here as high oil prices seem to be here to stay, even higher if a war with Iran is started, with some saying $200 a barrel possible if the Straits of Hormuz get closed. Who knows, smaller cars just might become the norm!

That is what shoud be Saturn's economy offering. The exchange rate and mileage make Astra not a great decision vs. Aura XE.

that would destroy yaris fit sales!!!!!!!!!
How so? You mean like the Astra is eatting into Toyota and Honda's sales as it is?

This one will be another flop. I would probably be one of the few who actully WOULD buy it. If it isn't redicusly priced like the Astra......

Welcome to GMI Daniel. Your Corsa looks very nice in that shade of blue. Were those wheels stock? They look good too.

I gotta agree with previous posters. We need this as either a Saturn or as a Pontiac. A similar powerplant pushing 180~190 hp would make a great Saturn Corsa Redline or G3 GXP.

I also really like the Corsa. Too bad with the way things are going we probably won't see it here as a Saturn. I don't think it fits Buick's or Pontiac's image either. I think it would be most at home as a Chevy.

True...it would work nicely as a next-gen Aveo or replacement. I don't see a hi-po version coming here in such a circumstance though.
