Starting in 2008, older vehicles with OnStar won't be able to access OnStar - so says a letter to my mother about her 2001 Buick. I've talked with OnStar (3/30/07) and the customer service rep said they've been getting a lot of calls from people with analog systems and they may be working on a solution. I talked to a dealer and they said retrofits were available for 2002 and up model years right now. Let's only hope either OnStar or someone else can get this mess cleaned up.
