LOL, 1 MPG takes you from "Saver" to "Glutten"The guy testing it got fatter.
Hmm I just saw that your truck is at 19mpg US. Luuucky!!! Our truck is getting 11mpg (2500hd 6.0L).WOW! My Silverado is actually rated for 27MPG on the highway! Sweet!
Or better yet eliminate all the tax grabs and let people buy what they wantTaxing a Focus? Shame on people for buying a gas guzzler like the Focus. Maybe Ontario should open their eyes and heavily tax pigs like the Hummer or Tahoe and leave tax grabs on economy cars alone.
tax on engine displacement...??Or better yet eliminate all the tax grabs and let people buy what they want
>1$ gasoline is plenty of stimulation to buy economical cars... if we had Iranian-style gas prices (8-11 cents / L) then sure. Essentially we are getting screwed twice (and in Quebec, multiple times : "luxury tax" on expensive cars, the gas-guzzler tax, the tax on engine displacement when registering...)
Canadian Focus gets 48 mpg? I am picturing Red Green, a bicycle, a lawn mower engine and a lot of duct tape.I do love how our mpg looks so good. People are like you americans get bad MPG on your cars, but look at us, our Focus is 48 MPG!
What? I've never gotten better than 22MPG in mine.WOW! My Silverado is actually rated for 27MPG on the highway! Sweet!
Anything with Red Green = hilarity. :lmao:Canadian Focus gets 48 mpg? I am picturing Red Green, a bicycle, a lawn mower engine and a lot of duct tape.
Mine's a 2WD.Uzzy said:What? I've never gotten better than 22MPG in mine.
I usually leave mine in 2WD, but ya, it's heavier because it's a Z71 Offroad. And I measure in US gallons.Mine's a 2WD.
I've gotten as good as 23MPG on the highway and can average 19MPG if I want. That's our little US gallons too!
