Anyone catch the blip on the new Nomad concept in Jan. '04 C&D? Supposedly built on a very flexible chassis that lends itself to "spirited driving"(read: RWD, maybe AWD ) and different widths, lengths, etc. It is powered by a Turbo Eco, so that indicates the approximate size of the Nomad concept. Looks okay, but the chassis is the exciting part.

Will post link when avail.

SyK....as usual.

Yup, supposed to be at the auto show.

This will be the second Nomad concept...? I wonder if it will be off of the HHR platform with AWD? I recall reading that the HHR would spawn variants.

That would make sence. If Pontiac brings out the roadster there is no reason the platform can't be used for other small RWD/AWD vehicles. It would make good economic sence to use the platform this way since your only going to sell so many roadsters.

Great idea, just build it. GM should take the look from C/D and apply it to the Malibu.
Cheap rwd with performance. What a great idea.
