I am posting pictures I promised to post several months ago. Authority wasn’t interested so I am doing it here. In summer I organised a Cadillac meeting for a local Cadillac FB group. There have been thousands American car events in Europe in the last 25 years. But I decided I wanted sth. different this time. By different I mean – no rubber burning, no Led Zeppelin copycats concerts, no cheap bear from plastic glasses etc. I wanted something similar to classic Cadillac gathering in Switzerland and Corvette Fame event in Netherlands. A premium atmoshpehere - something Cadillac brand truly deserves in it’s 120th anniversary. Therefore we booked a premium hotel (former XIX century army barracks in Modlin); organised cruising around town and exhibition of our cars for the local residents and a BBQ and live guitar music in the evening. It turned out very well. Just a reminder – there are no dealers, no local distribution network, NOTHING in my nearly 40 million country. So we had absolutely no support and promotion. We did everything on our own and paid for it. That’s why I am even prouder so many cars came from all around Poland and Czech Republic. There were many 90’s sevilles with 300-500 thousand kilometers on the clock that are driven daily by their owners. Some classics as the 40’s Fleetwood. And most of all one of 3 CT6-Vs in the country. Fabulous vehicle that turns heads everywhere. Please have a look at the pictures I took.

Wow - very cool! Refresh my memory - you indicated Poland and Czech Republic - which one are you in?
Modlin is in Poland where I currently live. But I lived in Czech and Slovakia as well and have many connections there in the American-car crowd. My trans-am went back to Slovakia. In a month we are organising another gathering in central Poland. Lots of Cadillac people were very upset they hadn't heard about it. Mostly Escalade crowd. There are many of them, people with children/animals who don't care about fuel efficiency love them.
For next events I am thinking about Wroclaw so guests from Czech and Slovakia will have smaller distance to cover. We are also looking for sponsors. There's a very good rockabilly band I know, they don't charge much but somehow even one thousand Euro is too much for local authorities.

I've never seen a CT6-V...you've got three of them in your country! Plus the nice blue CTS-V, the cool old ones, etc. Great stuff!

Great job! I know how hard it it to organize an event with little support! Maybe I'll join you next time! :p

You meant ATS-V? There are a few CTS-Vs here but we didn't have one. Maybe next time. As for CT6-V (which I call a monument of GM's stupidity) It all started with the first one You see in my pictures. The service manager of a multifranchise dealer in Wroclaw saw It, fell in love and imported one for himself. And the 3rd guy saw it somewhere and did the same. But I admire the pioneer Maciej my friend the most. It's not that hard to find a small independent service that worked on LS engines or a body shop that repairs Mustangs or Challengers. But people are afraid of rare cars. Moreover this particular one came from insurance auction and had suspension issues fortunately solved after a few months of importing needed parts.

You're absolutely right ATS-V not CTS-V, my bad.

Does it help that the CT6 is still made in China? Some basic body parts etc. might be available somehow. The V engine is not in production though.

I wouldn't buy a CT6 that wasn't a V, but Rare Cars R Us...
I'm not a burnout guy, so IMO, it's the greatest of all of the V's.
That lovely engine + AWD, oh hell yeah.

I'm obviously not the only one thinks so.
Used ones command very high prices.

Alsome turnout. The fact that you all paid and organized everything on your own is ALSOME! It goes to show that it can be done. I wish more meets were like this. I enjoy seeing American cars abroad. I wonder what the price difference for a Cadillac is over there. Have fun and enjoy the American Cadillacs.
