Quiet relative to the Boat, (a big Tin Echo Chamber) almost silent at idle speeds. You can hold a conversation at any speed. Great on fuel

my 20 HP SUZI on a 16 foot "lund" tiller is nearly silent to the point you can "miss" its idling and hit start again and having a convo with your mate at speed is not at all hard
my friends 30HP Suzi 2 smoke is smooth running and quiet when idling BUT not so much at full honk but quieter then a 20 HP Jonson 2 stroke
gotta say NICE boat looks a bit like a kingfisher
