NORMAL SATURNS:

REDLINE:
Think it is not cost effective and if you have more than one type on a line. The guess would be some fool would mix them. This should be a rocket going around Saturn ,to depict the demise of Oldsmobile. Saturn Won!

To change up the Saturn logo would be to decrease brand identity, retail value, and retention rates. Saturn needs to stay where it is and focus on consumer loyalty & cusomer recognition. If Saturn changes the name of every model they produce every time they redesign it, then retention rates drop. Impala and Malibu are well-known names that have lasted a long time; thus, their retention rates will be higher than Cobalt, considering that is a very new name.

And, plus, Saturn already has identification for Red and Green Line models. In the rear, a small silver badge with red/green in between it is shown.

true you beat me to that last point;) . Leave Saturn alone and let it grow and start designing the next gen Astra/Sky/Vue/and most importantly Aura right NOW. (I think Vue is being done) Don't wait 3 years and say oh S***, we have to order up a refresh and 7 years later end up behind the competition again.(eye roll) lets hope they do well, aura is a great vehicle.:)

GM did a good job of hiding this company to the public, as it will flourish because it has good product. The Oldsmobile went down so GM could support this new car company. This is fact when you look back at the way it has moved forward since Oldsmobile went down.

New? Saturn is 16 years old. Hardly new. The sad thing is that GM is wasting a lot of time to bring Saturn up to the niche that Oldsmobile was in the process of getting to- namely European styled vehicles with better driving dynamics. If Olds had been kept around and some money put into them, they'd be light years ahead of where Saturn is currently (ie. fledgling still).
