I was stiing here at work thinking of a better way to power cars. One that does not use gas. One that can give some great felling of torque. One that is environmentaly safe. here is my idea....

i think we should use a rubber band that we wind up like on those toy airplaines. i think this can be a great way to simplify engine building and has very few moving parts. :drive:

I while back there was an engine-like device called the Hydristor (I think) that used two torque converters, with one storing energy and one transmitting it. It made pretty good sense and seemed like it would be good in a hybrid setup

my other idea is to use the same product that they use in the new diesel engines... urine or piss really.. i think we can all just pee into our gas tank and use it as fuel. it might be easier for men then women though. but we could turn the car seats into pee seats and then you dont have to go outside to refuel your car

That's NASTY!! :barf: What's the matter with you? And where the hell did you hear theyuse that? They use urea-injection! It is for NOx filtration, not replacing fuel! I should go pee in your gas tank just for saying that.

I know what it is derived from, but what do you need it for in a car? It filters NOx in a diesel,that's all it does.

It would probably smell like the parking garage stair well I was in earlier today. :barf:

And aren't they working on an onboard, or home sort of bio-reclamtion thinga-ma-jigy where you would literally thorw garbage into a tank and it can sorta compost it down to useable fuel? Pretty much just like Doc Brown's addition to the Time Machine when he went into the future and was able to make the car fly. :yup:
