I was working on a dodge magnum coupe and I screwed up, so I turned it into a pickup...I thought it looked pretty good, maybe the next dakota kinda good...what do you guys think?

wow, that really does look good. the next dakota will probably look very similar to this, seems to be the new face dodge wants to put on their trucks.

I was pleasantly surprised when I finished...it looks surprisingly good. and if you think about the performance possibilities...the engine has 340 horsepower...the Ford lightning only has 380. I see some major ownage happening in the near future...serious ownage...*evil laugh*

That's more of a Hardtop then a Coupe

Raise the truck up about a foot, and yeah that would make a great dakota. And the coupe is still loading. Ok, it looks good. It needs a rear window, but over all it looks awesome! Good job man.

I was thinking that there could be different trim levels, the "sport" option could have the hemi, with the lowered spuspention, and there could be an "offroad" trim package, and then the base trim.....there would be others....v6 with lowered etc...but you get the idea

If you look hard enough you'll see a bit of a spoiler at the rear end. I couldn't figure out the damn c pillar...the window never seems to be the rite shape

That's not it. It's a good chop. Your real answer lies in the Mitsubishi Sport Truck concept. Slap a durango face on a pic of that concept and it's a dead ringer for the upcoming Dakota, which also gets a name change, BTW.

power to the dude who designed the sport truck concept but IMHO it's butt fugly, it's probably functional and all but it's still ugly. Not to mention that we haven't had a glimpse at what the new dakota will look like. I think that a new dakota, that looks this would be incredible. I really like it and...alot of other ppl too it appears. Anyway...just my opinion

Yeah, I know what you mean. The rear looks wierd. But, when looking at a pic of the front, you can notice the hood "steps down" like the outgoing Dakota. It's just the way the fenders bulge that tells you there's relation to the 'Kota.
