The date was April 19th while traveling through Hickory NC. It was raining and of course no camera handy. But a new black Challenger pulled up to a stop sign on a cross street. I must say, it looked very nice in person. I got a good view of the drivers side and the front.

I didn't know they were out already.

If you see regular Michigan plated cars those are S2's, no V1's have been built for the 2008.75 model year. The build was delayed again for various reasons (supplier issues).
Haven't seen too many regular plated challengers myself. the ones i see usually have manufacturers plates (they come through Rochester Hills on a fairly regular basis) and I have only seen three with regular Michigan plates.

Regular Plates are FFB cars driven by Executives and VP's

Oh ok I kinda figured higher ups were driving the ones with regular plates. Anyway, things have been dead at Chrysler (as far as any new testers making an appearance) lately but I hope the upcoming summer will change that for the better. I can't wait until i'm done with final exams tomorrow and Wednesday. Studying for them sux right now

I saw one last week. Just missed it though and it was on the expressway, I was at the Tim Horton's, but there's no doubt what it was. I haven't seen it up close yet. :(

Once you've been in about 30 of them they aren't exciting anymore.

or observed close to thirty like I have then you start getting tired of seeing them. I've seen 25 so far (yes I have kept count) Can't wait until summer though hopefully something new will be out and about roaming the roads by then

If you want an exact count I've been in over 60. Including a bunch of 2009 stick shifts. But 30 of them I've been very hands on with.

you got me beat thats for sure but the challenger is like a new rollercoaster. its great the first few times but after awhile its not as exciting as it used to be. I'll still turn my head to see SRT's but for the most part some of that "oh look" factor has started to wear off
