Thanks to another leak inside China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we've gotten our first excellent look at what we believe to be a new Buick Envision variant called the Envision S.

Buick isn't saying anything yet, but that's the name it's being referred to as on, a Chinese automotive site. That also looks like the name on the tailgate, though the S part is a bit hard to read in the low-resolution photos.

It looks like a Buick version of the Blazer, and, frankly, we like this one a bit better than the Blazer. In any case, the long hood and upright rear combine for a handsome new crossover. This one could make it stateside like the Blazer, sitting under the Enclave in Buick's lineup, though that's far from anything official.

Now that these photos have come out, we would expect the China reveal of the model to happen soon, though, like the Encore GX, any confirmation or reveal for other markets could be months later.

*********** reports that the new model will get GM's 2.0L LSY turbo-four from the XT4, 5, and 6 and the Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Acadia siblings. It was previously expected to arrive as the Buick Enspire, but, like the Encore GX, has taken on the name of an existing model.
