This is my first time posting, but I've been viewing for a while now. :)

I need to replace the brakes on my 2005 Chevy Suburban Z71. I can't seem to find out if Raybestos makes the AC Delco rotors (seems they do make the Durastop pads). If so, the Raybestos parts for my vehicle are less expensive than their AC Delco counterparts.

The official part numbers for rotors on my vehicle are as follows:

1. 18A1256
2. 18A1257
3. 18A1786
4. 18A1787

GMCSonoma, am I right on the part numbers? I'm sure you carry them, but at what cost?

There are Raybestos rotors that looks exactly the same in the pics as the AC Delco ones mentioned above ... coincidence or not?

I'm not interested in going cheap ... I'll have this vehicle for a long time and I want to make a wise and safe purchase. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes sir, I realize those are the slotted performance ones. Do you carry them? Many places around here (KC metro area) don't, so that's why I'm asking.

ok, I didn't realize that!!!
You never said otherwise...

No, I don't stock them...

One of the WD's in my area stocks them, also a gm dealer should be able to special order...

Raybestos shows them...check raybestos.com they have a link to their online catalog, also check their homepage for competitor cross reference...

You're right ... I didn't mention I knew the difference between the normal rotors and the drilled & slotted ones (sorry about that :D).

Am I understanding you right that the Raybestos rotors you listed (which are the the same ones I found) are the exact same as the Delco ones I mentioned earlier?

I'll check out the Raybestos site for the cross reference.

I can't say for sure 100%, but pretty positive!

I can't seem to find a cross reference on the Raybestos site. Do you happen to know where one is? Thx!
It's on the homepage left hand side of the page...can't miss it!! It's called "Interchange"...
