Sure the Nurburgring has some history, but the big event is coming in two weeks, June 14-15, the "24 hrs of Le Mans". I enjoy watching the Speed Channel video, then catch the audio on Le Mans Radio. I usually stay up late that night to catch the race. This is the event for multi-class road racing! I hope to someday attend.

Le Mans is a bit bigger, but personally I find this race more enjoyable to watch because the camera coverage is better and there are so many different cars. It's not often that you get to see a near stock classic Mini Cooper sharing the track with a diesel Mustang and a full race Lambo Gallardo.

True dat. I love all forms of motorsports, cept maybe NASCAR. Especially after Dale died.

The environment is thrilling. I was at the Rolex Series last year when they came to Iowa. It was neat seeing the sense of fun all the teams have. ****, even doing local track days is fun and you talk with other drivers like myself. I'll be at the ALMS when they come to Road America. I'l try and get good pics.
