I have stored my buick for about a year. It is a 1994 buick century with a 3.1 v6. It appears to have no spark. IT cranks over fine and I can smell the fuel. The fuses to the ECM are all showing as good. Is this a case of a bad computer or something hopefully simpler. Does anyone have any ideas?

If it is the computer does any one know what other vehicles might be compatible? Will any computer from a 3.1 work or does it have to be year and model matched. Are there any sites out there that list such information?

thanks

My 1995 Regal 3.1L had ALOT of problems with the fuel pump and fuel injectors. I was told by the mechanic that the fuel injectors were actually in the fuel tank (i was 16 at the time and have no idea if the guy was pulling my leg). Anyway sometimes my engine would sputter just like one of the fuel injectors was not running well/at all. This might be part of your problem.
