So I went to the NAIAS and took a bunch of pictures.

And then some. I think it looks even better in person than it does in photographs.

As a matter of fact, I'll go out on a limb and say that it would be a coin-flip between it and the Mercedes-Benz GLE (formerly ML) if I were buying a midsize crossover.

Thank you, Envoy4Life, for taking all those pictures and sharing them, especially - for me - the Buick Avenir and the Buick Cascada. (I really think those Cascada wheels are sharp!)

But do you have an impression or opinion of the new Buick display itself? How did it look next to Acura and Infiniti?

How do you like the new Explorer? I still don't know if like the old one or this new one.

ATS V in that blue is sexy as hell! I love it.

Buick NEEDS to build the Avenir.

The MKX looks really nice.

That Mercedes concept is terrible.

How does the new NSX looks in person?

ATS-V and Volt are in probably the ugliest blue I've ever seen.

It's like they took Opulent Blue and made it even more offensively blue. Earl Scheib is rolling in his grave.

Thanks for all the pics.

I think the GT-40, Buick Avenir and NSX were best of show.

The Shelby Mustang is god awful.

The S class coupe is my dream daily driver. Just sensational everywhere.

Glad you enjoyed them!

If I'm being honest, I wish the Buick display had more color. It was kind of cold and sterile.

Explorer looks nice in person. I don't think it's a big change, but it looks nice.

The NSX is phenomenal. I think that it was one of the most underrated debuts of the show.

My impressions:

Ford Explorer: Nice enough.
Ford GT: Very nice. Enough said.
Ford Raptor: Nice, but I think I like the old one better.
Ford Mustang GT350R: Nice looking car, but lose that spoiler and then we'll talk.
Lincoln MKX: Awesome. I loved it.
Buick Cascada: Yawn. Boring in person, and I really didn't try that hard to photograph it, either. Sorry.
Buick Avenir: Now this one... this one is a totally different story. The entire Board of Directors should be tried as criminals if it doesn't reach production...
Cadillac ATS-V: Nice, but a bit underwhelming. And it's kinda ricey.
Cadillac CTS-V: Much better than the regular CTS. MUCH BETTER. But also kinda ricey.
Chevy Volt: Very attractive in person. I hope it does well.
Chevy Bolt: Awful. Just awful. Absolutely hideous in person.
Acura NSX: Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous.
Infiniti Q60: Attractive. It looks very nice in person.
Mercedes-Benz C Class PIH: Great, just like the regular C.
Mercedes-Benz S550 Coupe: Dear Santa...
Mercedes-Benz Concept: Terrible. Awful. Hideous. Gross.

Being honest? Yeah, I think so. The GT was a little too busy for me. The NSX is about perfect.

Thanks! The iPhone 6 Plus has a great camera.

To be honest, I haven't thought about it, but now that you mention it, I don't see why I can't do a quick weekend trip. It's only about three hours away from my college campus. So I'll answer with "most likely".

Are you going to be there?
