and that was the monster rice wing. I think it looks a little better, but still, there's something about it that is too much.

it's the fender flares, they're what's too extreme on the car. also, those wheel wells aren't being adequately filled.

If you remove the polished piece around the Exhaust it would look a lot better just from that IMO. Also, what is the purpose of ducting behind a wheel?

They remove the air that goes through the grille, through the radiator and over the engine from under the hood. This keeps the car from trying to take on the abilities of a hovercraft. That there's actual airflow over the engine, instead of just stagnant air in the engine bay keeps everything cooler as well.

Here is my street version of the GT-R:





Looks like it could have clues to the next Cobra/GT-500/whatever they call it. Not sure if those headlights or tailights will make it though.
