Thanks for the link to that article, Chet!I read this over at Autoblog... then I thought about this old article:
My how things change...
Context man. Context. --> :Well............... thats a real nice way to support your fellow Americans.
Its funny, because I read forums of all different types............... yet, I have rarely, to never, read on a Ford board, about someone wishing GM would go out of business. Nor have I read the animosity towards GM, that is aimed toward Ford, on this board.
Why is that??
To my way of thinking, GM and Ford suffer from the same basic problems, and have the same basic challenges. They both deserve to be rooted for............ and maybe even prayed for. There is too much at stake, and too many peoples livelihoods at stake.
a Challenge!!Not that I would ever admit to owning a Ford, and unless you can search back several hundred posts, I stand by that.
...not completely sure it's applicable or that I should've posted any of this...
they could move them to Kansas City or Dearborn too. They are on the same frame. All I hope is that in those 10 weeks they decide to start retooling some of the plants so they can make some cars, I wonder why they dont build the Expy and Navi in the same plant as the Superdutys
