Ever notice while watching the news on TV that in any god forsaken country where they're showing some mob of terrorists in the streets, those terrorists are always driving MB's. They must be really cheap in that part of the world, or my chosen occupation isn't paying enough here.

It the fact they keep on going for ever, same reason they're taxis in many countries.

I still believe in the idea that no matter how much time passes, or how much better Cadillac vehicles are, people are going to be buy German cars because they're German, and not American cars because they're not German.

Changing the international perception of each nation's prowess as car makers is impossible - German brands, and Japanese, are seen the world over as better quality.

It's certainly easy to change - just - supply cars of better quality.

That's a pre-requisite - but it'll still take a couple of generations to change perceptions - that's human generations. not car generations!
