No, all this would prove, if anyone were to believe what you wrote, is that what you wrote is persuasive or what you wrote in combination with the C&D name is persuasive or it might be evidence that the C&D name, regardless of what is written, is persuasive. However, most of those who responded to the initial post either disagreed with what was written or didn't believe this was a C&D review. So, what did the initial post and responses prove? Nothing.Teh fact that most of you bought it is proof of how persuasive Car and Driver can be when throwing around a bunch of fluffy adjectives to describe an utterly and superbly average car.
This, IMHO, is dangerous.
