I guess they like it!:

"...The interior of the new 2009 Acura TSX is utterly unbelievable. The gearshif linkeage is so smooth in its shifting action that we wondered if the pinions were covered in impeccable Chinese silk. The utterly flawless vinyl-wrapped interior was so convincingly leather-like in appearance we expected to see, "100% Corinthian Leather imported from Italy" on its underside. Once underway, the car moved with an utter aplomb that was flawless in its impeccable road manners and made an utterly superb dance partner. The steering? You needen't ask. It's utterly telepathic in it's moves; so utterly and superbly handcrafted in the way the leather wrapping slides across your fingers. The Chassis? Again, superbly telepathic, as this car -- a car that is built with a higher level of quality than cars costing five times as much -- moves down the road with the authority, precision and aplomb of a world-class sprinter. The exhaust note? Utterly superb, playing a soundtrack that can be easily mistaken for Brahm's Fifth Symphony played in C Minor by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
The stitching was done with such utter, superb care we were going to call up Honda to see if they outsourced their upholsterers to the Amish. The fragrance of the leatherette smells like real glove leather used by the French gentry after a stroll in an utterly superb, damp, French garden. All of our testers agreed that the switchgear seemed to run on Teflon bearings used by NASA, as their feel and precision moved with utter aplomb, superbly dialing in a radio station with impeccable, telepathic precision..."
I guess they liked the new Acura TSX...

Now if I spent the night with Denise Richards and we made some world-class love, I might describe it C&D's terms there........but for a car? They don't even get that lubed up over the 3-series

Teh fact that most of you bought it is proof of how persuasive Car and Driver can be when throwing around a bunch of fluffy adjectives to describe an utterly and superbly average car.
This, IMHO, is dangerous.

YOU made that up. People believed that it was from C&D but NO ONE agreed with the statements.

No wonder they banned you there, keep it up and soon you'll be gone here too.

so now we're all somehow more aware of our own journalistic tendencies because you've so profoundly made us look like fools?

Ok, ok we get it. Multiple threads on the telepathic steering rant.

You love the Corvette Z06.

You hate Car and Driver and think it is part of some giant conspiricy.

You believe the GT-R is overratted.

You've made your point. Can you please either move on to other topics or give it a rest?

wow, was this supposed to be written terribly? I doubt any sort of publication would allow writing like this to be printed (or even typed on their website!)

Have some of you shtik-dreks ever driven an Acura TSX? It's a very well-sorted car that would definitely be on my short-list if I were looking for a compact sports sedan. It handles sharply, looks sharp, and has a sharp interior. Much more than I can say for any of GM's soggy offerings (Saab 9-3 aside; and even it has issues...).

Let the bottom-feeders shlep around in heaps like the Pontiac G6, and leave the real cars to those who can appreciate a good car.

And for those unaware, I really hate Hondas. Somethin' fierce. But I loved the Acuras TL and TSX. Unlike many of our GMI brethren, whose testicles don't seem to have yet fully descended, some of us have the maturity and intelligence to put aside stupid notions such as bias, and appreciate a good car for being a good car.
