I would stop letting strange people drive your CTS.
Okay .... I'm a female driver..... I'll bite this one time. What's a ONE-OFF problem.Call Johan de Nysschen, he will personally come and unlock it for you... that's just the way Cadillac rolls these days...
Joking aside, sounds like a one-off problem, hopefully your dealer can quickly diagnose and fix it.
What I mean is of all the people that have mentioned problems with their Cadillacs on this forum (and there are a few), this one hasn't come up, so it doesn't sound like a common problem. Might be some random defect, and not a major part or fabrication error. Doesn't change the fact that your car doesn't work properly, of course; hopefully it's not a big deal for GM to fix.Okay .... No worries, mate!!What I mean is of all the people that have mentioned problems with their Cadillacs on this forum (and there are a few), this one hasn't come up, so it doesn't sound like a common problem. A small calibre revolver should help get you out. Remember to check downrange!I don't have a keyless system.... thank God..... not that I'm much better off than the poor couple in the link you posted (above) on the Dangers of Keyless Entry.
I just find it annoying that the service department mgr. told me that he'd never heard of anyone being locked INSIDE their cadi.
