Time to get something over Bose Cadillac...

The thing with Bose is that Cadillac is married to them because of the noise canceling technology
Buick had a relationship with Harmon for a long time. Don't know if they still do.

Yes please. I have been thoroughly unimpressed with the Bose systems in Cadillacs. They are fine as an entry/standard system, but there should be a higher quality as an option. Cadillac needs something better than a brand you can buy on QVC at 2 in the morning. HK Revel was actually one of the brands I suggested in a previous thread.

GM did sign some type of deal with HK recently w/out much known about it, but I have a feeling its more about the interface than the audio system, which would be disappointing.

I love that veneer in the picture! It must be from the new MKX.

Bose also devalued itself when they decided to let Nissan use their products. You can get Bose audio in a Sentra.

The veneer/grain of the wood and the aluminum speaker grill does look quite good.

I would not be surprised to see a new Audio OEM in the Caddy when the flagship (whatever it is named) debuts next year (New York?) Bose in Audi and Porsche are the "second" tier option system......enough said.
That's really nice, but sound systems is hardly a Lincoln fault. The THX system is really good, one of the best in the industry if you ask me. I'm all in for a great sound system, though. Caddy is long overdue for a new audio company partnership.

I had a new MKZ loaner last year when I was getting the doors repainted on the LS when someone hit me in the parking lot and it had the THX sound system in it, it was really nice the sound was awesome. Makes me wonder if they will keep the THX name on the stereo with these Harman Revel speakers?

We test drives MKS at the Phoenix auto show, and the THX sound system was the best factory audio system I ever heard in any car I've owned or test driven. It is awesome.

Have noticed Bose has replaced the HK system in the Regal, and are in present Malibu when last gen they were not. Would not be surprised to see Bose back in the Camaro giving Boston OEM the boot. Maybe GM is throwing Bose more unit volume in exchange for the bad news they are getting the boot out of Cadillac.

My 2011 Malibu had a Bose system.

FWIW, the Bose system in my ATS is actually pretty good. I still would have liked an even more powerful option, though.
I like the "Black Label Line" idea.

Does Cadillac offer a specific, named process for customers seeking custom ordered cars?

Ditto - I had a Bose system in my '08 Malibu. I also like the Bose system in my ATS, though I wish I got the uplevel Bose system. Does in knock my socks off? No, but it is decent. Is decent good enough for Cadillac? Or minimally Cadillac should have a stereo option that does knock everyone's socks off?

Audio in this segment must be no compromise. Pretty nice just does not cut it. This is not the feature to save pennies on.
