2016 Lexus GS F unveiled with 467 bhp
Worldcarfans

Lexus has officially unveiled the 2016 GS F.
Set to debut at the North American International Auto Show, the BMW M5 competitor has an aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille that is flanked by large air intakes and LED headlights. Moving further back, we can see ventilated front fenders, revised side skirts and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. The car also has tinted taillights, a trunk-mounted spoiler and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Power is provided by a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 467 bhp (348 kW / 473 PS) and 389 lb-ft (527 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual-shifting capabilities.

The back end looks nice and like a BMW. The front is vomit worthy. That interior isn't much better, hate the seats especially.
On one hand, it's pathetic that the richest car company in tge world manages to bring these weak products compared to the competition. It might drive well, but common! HP in the 400s?? That's sad.

On the other hand if they price it to compete with Audis's SLine, Caddy VSport and the likes, they might have a real winner on their hands. And I like the interior, F seats are always lovely.

That backend shot really reminds me of the Model S.
Cadillac can tweak the Vsport and take this thing down
Ugh.

It just gets worse and worse.....

I'm confused. Shouldn't this be the F Sport?

It looks awesome but 467 horsepower? That kind of waters down what F is supposed to be: a real competitor to RS, M, and AMG.

If it's like 75K though, then that's interesting. It'd be an S6 and XF Supercharged competitor.

It comes down to pricing pretty much. In terms of performance this car will probably have its hands full with a 550i, so the pricing really should reflect that.
I can see its balls shriveling up now at Detroit standing next to the CTS-V. Now that I think about it, Lexus doesn't have any so that won't be an issue.

Only thing good about this car is the interior and the engine, it may be down on power, but it's one of few NA engines still available in this size car.
Lexus made a funny...ha

This is boring, lurid and unimpressive. Take it away.
I'm getting used to it.

It's kind of like if this guy moved in next door with his family, you would eventually chat over the fence and invite them over for a BBQ.

Should have been more like this - and I didn't touch the grille - because they obviously want it like that...

What did you change, besides the color? I can't put my finger on it ???

Bigger wheels and lowered it looks like to me.

The interior is not that nice. I sat in a regular fully loaded version at the autoshow this past weekend. I could not help but see parts from 1990's.

Really with more weight and less torque than the Vsport, it cannot possibly hope to touch the Vsport, let alone surpass it.

I trimmed back the ugly cheeks and jowls around that ugly grille, lowered the hood a bit and enlarged the wheels...

It looks fantastic, but it's weak.

If it's priced like the Vsport, then it'll be a monster. If it's priced like the CTS-V, then LOL.
