Porsche has revealed its Panamera Exclusive Series, a limited-edition version of the sedan that promises to deliver even more luxury than the standard model.
Appropriately called Exclusive Series, the limited-edition Panamera stands out from its regular-production sibling thanks to a two-tone black metallic and chestnut paint job and 20-inch alloy wheels sourced from Porsche's Sport Classic collection. Hand-made emblems located behind the air vents on both sides of the car add a discreet finishing touch to the custom-built appearance.
The interior has been spruced up with wall-to-wall Poltrona Frau brown leather upholstery with chestnut contrast stitching, burl walnut wood trim up front and piano black trim out back. The limited-edition model inaugurates Porsche's new Rear Seat Entertainment System Plus that includes two high-resolution 10.1-inch screens, an integrated DVD player and a high-end Burmester surround sound system.
Buyers can order a five-piece luggage set upholstered with the same Poltrona Frau leather used inside the car at an extra cost.
Porsche has not made any modifications under the hood, meaning the Panamera Exclusive Series is powered by a Turbo S-sourced twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine that makes 570 horsepower and 553 lb-ft. of torque. The sedan can reach 62 mph from a stop in 3.7 seconds before going on to a top speed of 192 mph.
The Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series will greet the public for the first time at the Los Angeles Motor Show that will open its doors late next month. Only 100 examples of the car will be available worldwide, and it will exclusively be offered in left-hand drive markets.
On sale now in Germany, the Panamera Exclusive Series retails for €249,877, a sum that converts to nearly $315,000. Porsche has not yet released U.S. pricing.
