Player managers are somewhat of a curse on sport, whether AFL, NRL or cricket, but the clubs brought it on themselves by not offering enough. Now they do and a percentage goes to someone doing bugger-all (as far as the sport goes that is).That and clubs that develop their own should be allowed concessions on the cap
Or if they develop a player , I'm going to use a player like Milford as an example, and another club offers that player a contract to leave the club that built him then the buying club pays a transfer fee to the developing club
Also I think player managers have too much influence
