Ahead of next month's Detroit Auto Show, BMW today unveiled a raft of improvements made to their 6-Series coupe, four-door Gran Coupe and convertible as the range enters the middle of its life cycle.

Tweaks to the car are largely related to styling and equipment. In a press release, BMW said that the refreshed 6ers now sport an "adeptly modified design that exudes powerful sports performance and, at the same time, emphasizes the exclusive elegance of these luxury cars," and we couldn't agree more.

The 6-Series Gran Coupe continues to be a strong seller in the range, with nearly one in two buyers opting for the four-door model.

In particular, every 6-Series model has "flared wheel arches and horizontal lines across the rear emphasize the cars' wide track and resultant surefooted handling." Wider is better, as we all know.1112

Improvements over the 2014 model include standard Adaptive Full-LED headlights, new 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, available Ivory White/Black and Cognac/Black leather accents, the option of Fineline Brown wood trim, the new optional Black Accent Package with piano black interior trim, newly styled exterior mirrors, and a revised front fascia.

Hahaha I laughed so hard yesterday to this. Btw, the 6 is still my favorite BMW, such a nice looking vehicle.

Btw, the Prix still looks so good after these years.

A good friend has a 2003 Grand Prix with the 3.8L, and she loves it.

So was the Grand Prix a Grand Coupe before there were grand coupes? ;)
Blast! No extra body cladding this year?!

Good stuff!
Still look good today. GM dropped the ball with the 2004+ Grand Prix and it became a fleet queen. I still wouldn't mind a GTP Comp. G though
I used to see these -everywhere-. Seems like they were all replaced by Altimas.

Big time! I was a big fan of the GTP.
