Indian Mahindra discusses takeover of Saab

Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd is reportedly in talks to buy National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB, the holding company that purchased assets of Saab Automobile two years ago.

Nevs has been granted more time to look for additional investors by the Swedish court in Vänersborg. The deadline of November 2014 has been extended to March next year.

MM has been sniffing around at Saab for almost five years. I guess they wanted to wait until it nosedived further before putting in a bid.
