Incentive Alert: 2015 GM Card Top Off Offer

January 5, 2015

GM Card Top-Off Opportunity

GM Credit Card members will either receive $2,000 or $3,000 in "Topped-Off" earnings based on how many points you currently have on your credit card. After leasing my Volt in 2014, I built the balance up to $500. I have received a top-off of $1500 (+ $500) = $2000.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) Are all GM Card members eligible for the GM Card Bonus Earnings offer?

No, not all GM Card members are eligible to receive the offer. Only GM Card members that receive the mailing and provide a unique GM Card Bonus Earnings Code qualify for the top off offer.

2) Are the GM Card Bonus Earnings top off offer transferable to someone else?

No, only the targeted members who were mailed the top off offer with a unique GM Card Bonus Earnings Code will be eligible to redeem the top off offer.

3) Are GM Card Bonus Earnings available on more than one new vehicle purchase?

No, GM Credit Card members can redeem their GM Card Bonus Earnings top off toward only one new vehicle per offer.

4) If a GM Credit Card member has more questions about the GM Card Bonus Earnings top off offer, or have lost their GM Card Bonus Earnings Code, where can they get more information or find a lost code?

GM Credit Card members can contact their local dealership or call the GM Card customer service center at 800 947-1000 and ask for the "Redemption Center".

A great program to take advantage of. It can also be combined with some GM conquest offers, and most retail offers.

Example: Lease a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT as follows:

$159 per month, $2319 down, before top-off savings.
(Subtract $2000 or $3000 top-off cash from the down payment).
Payments are for a 2014 CHEVROLET Cruze LT with an MSRP of $20,735. 36 monthly payments total $5,724. See dealer for details.

Check your mailbox tonight if you carry the card.
Does anyone know if the GM Extended Family Card qualify for top off offers? I've had the card since October 2013 and at 1% earnings (I qualify for GM Supplier pricing, hence the 1% deal) and have accumulated a small amount: less than $100. I'm looking for a new pickup and a top-off offer could push me towards making the commitment now.
I just bought a new Chevrolet last month. So my earnings are now sub $200. Will I get a "top off" offer?
Got my 2K top off in the mail today. Also loyalty cash. $500 available on Colorado. Lets go shopping!
I finally got a top off, first time ever! So... I have over $4200.
Too bad there's no FWD/AWD convertible or compact Cadillac crossover to use it on.
Maybe someday...
I usually get these when I can't use them... They seem to do it in early to mid-January.
Note to self: When the ATS goes back on December 10th, borrow a friends car for 2-3 weeks.

Where did you find out about the Loyalty Cash ? I did not know this. I need another Colorado !

It's right in your top off offer that was mailed to you.
I got a GM card in the early 2000's after buying my first new truck (Silverado). GM then scrapped the card and my earnings vanished. Screw that.
The irony for me was I canceled my Capital One card several years ago after they pissed me off. But I held my GM Card through all the different merges and sales... now my card and my auto loan are with Capital One.

Not mine.
Perian must get his mail much later in the day than I do.

New Years resolution: Check the "Suggest a news article" before posting!! My apologies for stepping on your thread.
Just kiddin' around with ya! I appreciate all your efforts on GMI.
Gonna wait until next year when (HOPEFULLY) the new Cruze will be included.

That's what I'm hoping for as well. Mazda customer service is so bad I won't get another one
Overrated program, imo. GM typically scales back other incentives in conjunction. The only positive is that the top-off is usually available on more cars.

True, but you get the best bang for the buck by using your Top Off credits with a GM lease. There are several excellent subvented lease rates on most 2014 GM products - especially Chevrolet and Cadillac.
