I agree that another rebadged Monaro is very unlikely, but I think the reason for this topic is more 'what if'? I often wonder how the reception would have been for the rebadged Monaro had Pontaic not used the "sacred" GTO nameplate. If Chevrolet were to offer a rebadged Monaro, I'd stay away from any heritage nameplates. The main complaint for the 2004 GTO is simply the name. The new GTO is a great car, but too many people can't get past the three letters on the grill.
