I seem to remember Lutz saying the Diesel doesn't fit. GM would install a diesel if it did fit under the hood.

You mean, it doesn't fit under the hood? Or it doesn't fit the US market.

Of course GM can fit a diesel in an H2. They found a way to cram a Vette enging into a CTS engine bay.
And it's not a matter of GM not having an diesel engines either. They do own Isuzu and Opel. And they've got diesel engine designs.

This is one of the big reasons I don't like the H2. A Hummer with no diesel is like a Corvette with no V8.
