Jesus Christ, the Grange in E1 & E2 form were beautiful. Why throw on that tacky black plastic and tacky LED's? The lower part of the bumper is just disgusting

Oh and BTW RedVee, the backround of my PC is a Grange E2 :p
Image
I have the shot of the Grange and the Senator as my current wallpaper, had to photoshop a bit, as my laptop thinks it's smarter than I am, and only allows stretching as an option for placing wallpapers. The last time someone mentioned the idea of moving to Australia to get hand on one of these cars, restless person I sometimes am, I looked into the matter for a bit.

Oh thanks well I never heard that expression whatever. I don't want one from the Middle East. Probably a bomb and the Quran in it but really I want one from Oz. Sitting on the wrong side *oops* the other side of the car will puzzle many. I saw a video about the Chevy Lumina and I always heard about them. They pretty much put the American one to shame as they do to most US GM vehicles Impala included.
Inflammartory racist drivel removed.

:mad::mad::mad:After making such a xenophobic and racist comment like that i dont think you deserve our Commodore. Just imagine if people still thought about American cars as useles fuel guzzling behemoths with horrible build quality and 58 litre engines running off baby seal. Doesn't bear repeating , and that there is more out there than baseball and "trucks".:mad::mad::mad:
You know something, I totally agree and saw that comment last night, but I didn't want to touch it.

Then I read the bolded part of your post.

U mad? It was a joke and said in a tongue-in-cheek fashion. Shut up and calm down. If anything you sound quite uneducated by misspelling words and not adding your apostrophes where needed. Mind you, you are really exaggerating American vehicles. They you are acting I would guess someone whacked you in the face with a cricket bat before you made this comment. If you really think that what I said actually happens then I don't know what to say.

Please be careful about what you type and a little sensitive: while you may think you're amongst friends this is not always the case. If it's joke - make it clear it's a joke.

Edit: BBDOS CV8

Exactly, im exaggerating a wrongful stereotype and it caught you eye, just as you have done with your xenophobic comments. I dont believe what you said, and if you meant it as a joke, then ok. But is there really a need to carry on with jokes like THAT, when it just helps perpetuate a misconception about a certain group of people worldwide, who are already copping a lot of flack for something which they cannot be blamed for.

Here's a message for you: Don't reprint stuff like that, even in jest.

I have a lot in response to that but that is for another time and in another thread. I stand by what I said that it was a joke. I really don't think it offended anyone other than yourself but they probably didn't voice their opinion. The others who replied just went right along without noticing it. My real opinion on whether they can be blamed is for another time. I don't care whether you believe what I said but I do think this "misconception" is brought on by themselves. I will leave it at that.

I'm amazed there's not more use in the US, you guys have as much natural gas as us: no NoX, and LPGi means the traditional bugbear of hydrocarbon increase doesn't happen. And high comp motors, especially with KR-mappable ignition are best of all, because LPG is so high in octane. You can run tons of advance.[/QUOTE]

the reason is the govt has not been able to figure how to collect road tax on home filled with natural gas if you have the compressor. here in the states just follow the money and you will see what is going on.

probably they don't want to confuse the masses. You can't have the poor dears getting confused putting gas in to their car -this is probably why we have always called gasoline petrol. Auto LPG is different to domestic or "BBQ" LPG so maybe they are scared of people using them incorrectly.
I keep forgetting to put a tank of petrol through my car but I am running it on petrol this week and will go back to gas next week.

In that photo the bottom of the front valance looks like it is further off the ground in the centre to under the DTLs. I hope that isn't the case. It may be just distortion. I will see if I can find a real one over the weekend.
I also think it would have looked better if the indicators were at the bottom of the headlight not at the top. It looks better in red on the HSV site although it isn't a photo on the site.

if they colour-coded a little bit of that lower grille, i think it'd blend in much better
totally agree.
The only bit that annoys a tad is those waves? leading to each driving/fog light.

I think the painted bit is higher in the middle, but the unpainted bit is flat accross the bottom edge, highest in the middle.
