How Well Is The ATS Coupe Selling?

I was just wondering how well the ATS coupe is selling? Any figures yet, or is it too soon so see any trends? The sedans don't sell well around here. A dealer about 25 miles from me has four leftover 2013's still on the lot.

Can you even buy them yet?
One of the dealers around here had on on their lot in October or November. I sat in it, but did not test drive it. I haven't seen any coupes on the road yet, but plenty of ATS sedans (and quite a few G3 CTSs).
Saw 1 in the showroom this week while getting a part replaced. Didn't see any on the lot though.
I've driven by the Cadillac dealership 4 times over the last month and a half and haven't spotted one yet. I haven't spotted and RC at the Lexus dealership down the street either.
Probably pretty terribly.

I like ATS as much as a 3 series, but I cannot justify an ATS coupe over a 4... I just can't. ATS looks too boring.

ATS-V coupe looks like the spicier of the two cars, though. Go figure. I still like the ATS-V sedan, too.

Can you even buy them yet?
Yes. The same white Luxury coupe has been in the same spot at the dealer I hit sometimes since sometime in November.

They have a 2014 Black Diamond or Black Raven Vsport Premium that hasn't moved since then, either. Still parked in the back against the fence, still has leaves under the hood.

It's pathetic.
Coupe is an even bigger failure than the Sedan.

I didn't even think it was possible. And it's too bad. The Coupe doesn't look that bad.

Anecdotally, I have seen 0.

I agree totally. There is very little point to having a coupe unless it is substantially more avant garde than the sedan. The ATS coupe doesn't really deliver in that regard, to my eye anyway. The ATS-V is on my shopping list and it will be the sedan version, simply because I find it more attractive than the coupe.

The Coupe looks better than the Sedan, at least to me.

The new front end is awful, though. I wouldn't buy one just based on that.

What basis do you have for saying this, when they barely have enough inventory on the ground to go test drive one?
In October 2014, this beautiful ATS Coupe Premium AWD 3.6L was at the dealership where my brother took his own ATS in for scheduled maintenance (Capitol Cadillac in Greenbelt, Maryland):

When I checked Capitol Cadillac's inventory listing this evening, it was still available for sale.

We can disagree and still be friends, right. :)

There is just something, I just can't put my finger on it, something that makes the ATS coupe look awkward, where the 4 series, ( and the M235i for that matter), look more resolved, more put together, more elegant.
They started making them in July, with the other 2015 ATS's.

There was about 60 on the road by late summer, total sales shot-up, way over 100, by the time leaves started to fall, I suspect by now there is at least 200 on the road.

I can't speak for Envoy4Life's comment, but there are several ATS coupes available for test driving at Moore Cadillac and Lindsay Cadillac in Northern Virginia, and several more across the river at dealerships in Maryland. LINK

My local dealer has 15

Should be enough to get them through the rest of the year................

They've been out for months now...
According to cars.com, within 150 miles of my home in NW PA there are 80 new coupes and 215 new sedans available for sale. I have watched these for quite a while on cars.com and the same ones seem to continue to be listed for quite a while. I would like to buy one, but will wait until I find a trade-in after one year, to save what I think will be a substantial depreciation. By the way, thanks for all the posts to this thread. Makes interesting reading.

Of course! :D

Have you seen one in person yet? I didn't like it at first, but the lines really look nice on it in person. I still hate the new front end, though.

You didn't think a coupe could sell markedly less units than an (established BTW) sedan? In 2015?
