You are going to get a lot further trying to get to the store's dealer. Chevy is going to be mostly unconcerned since they do no have a lot of power over the individual service departments.

If you have an issue with a warranty claim then getting Chevy involved is not a waste of time. If they took 6 hours to do an oil change then you are better off venting on the message boards.

Well,

I went in to Ernie Miller Chevrolet in Tulsa Oklahoma and bought a rear end wheel seal. It didn't fix the problem for very long about 1000 miles. So I went in and bought another and another stopped putting them in myself and started having other mechanics do it but with the same result. So Ernie Miller parts dept. said I needed a new hub so I bought a new hub and bearings and seal same problem after 750 miles. They said vent tube problem that wasn't it but I replaced it anyway same problem. So they said I needed to replace the housing so I did same problem after 500 miles. Then I went to another dealership and they said there was a replacement seal for that very problem, they sold it to me and I installed it and 10,000 miles later still no problem. $4271.00 dollars spent when they had a seal to fix the problem all along.

I guess that's why Parts Guys are Parts Guys and Techs are Techs.

Parts Guys can diagnose a problem and determine what work is necessary on issues that they have never even seen.
There are very few Techs that would make a commitment to what parts and work you need without first examining the problem themselves.

All of a sudden the $80 for an in-shop diagnoses doesn't seem that bad.

I have had my car for almost 2 months and for 1 week of that month my car was in the shop getting a new headliner because when i bought the car it had hail damage and the fixed it so i got it at a lower cost... well when they fixed the hail damage the y bent the headliner so i requested that they fix that and a few dents they missed as well as a tear in the leather. they said the paint is lifetime warranty!!! so my parts came in 1 month after i bought my car... one week of that month we were on vacation and i didnt drive my car, it was parked under the carport!! this is my 1st new car and i was it every other day and inspect it thoroughly!! they called and my parts were in so i took it up there and it was 8 days later that i got it back. i got in it and left because my salesman seemed to be in a hurry and was like ok bye! so i left... i got home and out of the car and starting inspecting it and found 5 nicks on the hood of my car!! i know they were not there when i dropped the car off because i had just washed it!! i know they had to take the windshield out because you can still see the suction cup marks on the inside part of the windshield. i took pictures and sent them to my salesman and told him the deal and he hasnt called me back or anything!! i am really upset because they werent on the hood when i dropped my car off!! what do i do!! they are supposed to warrant the paint job for life that they messed up!!!!

Oh my life I’ve been driving Chevys, but this is a big disappointment just bought a 2019 barely has 62,000 miles and the motor knocking crankshaft is broken throwing rods and Chevy knows that they have a problem and they still haven’t recall to fix the problem disappointment. I’m thinking about just buying a Ford Chevy worth buying anymore

My Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD has been in the shop at Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall for 17 days. They are still waiting for the part (Fuel Pump Control Module) needed to fix my truck. This is excessive and unacceptable. I will surely consider buying my next vehicle from another company other than Chevrolet!! Is there anyone who can help? I have called 800 222-1020. If they would at least give me a loaner I would not be as upset!!

I was writing out a complaint and I get a message that something went wrong, my message disappeared! So in a nut shell the service department has done nothing but lied to me,and the dealership has not really done anything about it. I think that the service people are taught how to BS warranty work and must think everyone is a dummy. According to GM I was totally lied to, again!

Chevrolet corporate number is: 1 (800) 222-1020. My truck was in the shop for a month, but once I contacted the corporate office, the work was completed within a few days. My sincere thanks to Joyce from corporate!! I don't know why Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall had to wait for the corporate office to get involved. Had they offered me a loaner, I wouldn't be so upset. I had been thinking of upgrading to a newer model, but because of Bomnin's lack of customer service, I will now think twice about purchasing another chevy!!

You rent a truck, fab a pusher front end for it, then put your vehicle in front of this rental truck, then use the rental truck to push it up to a decent speed, aiming the vehicle right at the dealer's showroom. Bonus points if you throw a molotov ****tail into the showroom right after this.

Or you could go to another dealer.
