saw this when I went out to dinner...
so who knows how she managed to miss that large rectangular pice of cement.
on the way out they were trying to get her out.
they lifted the car on the flatbed- it was literally hanging half of the rear- witch the winch attached to the tow hook on the bumper (so it wouldnt fall off)....
I wasnt able to get the pic of that cause the beautiful black car pulled into the spot.
she was able to drive away- damage to the sides and something hanging from the bottom.
but amazingly no blown tires.

Sometimes it's hard to see curbs and low things. I plowed over a steel pole in a parking lot in my '59 Cadillac. I also hit a concrete something or another in my 300C.

Sometimes the eye doesn't see everything.

Looks like she was taking a short cut through the lot, at a pretty good clip...
Yeah, it seems like she probably parked in the spot in front of the Frontier, and then decided to make a sharp right turn to cut to the other aisle to make her parking lot escape.

Since the stores were on the driver side, there was a chance she wasn't reminded of the tree-less planter on the passenger side on the way back to the car, thus the comedy rbarrios witnessed.

this was at the shopping center in Monrovia (trader joes/Mimis cafe) for the poster in LA.
But these appear to be new planters- recently placed- the cement is nice and bright.
I think all thats missing are the new trees.
but im thinking she was trying to make a quick escape....
cause she sure wasnt parking- slow speed wouldnt get a low car/bumper tire over that big block of cement.....
she must have been going pretty fast.

I once saw a Commander try to go around a light post too tight and get the wheel stuck.

Basically the post was on the left, the driver was making a sharp left around the pole, and she misjudged and the pole landed BETWEEN her turned wheel and the fender. (go outside turn your wheels all the way left, get out view the space between fender and the backside of the wheel to get where I am talking about).

The thing that happened next was hilarious, the wheel SNAPPED off the A-arm and fell sideways and the whole jeep teetered forward and stopped. So basically this girl ruined the front axle of this Commander.

Man, everyone is getting FAIL lately.

It'd've been really fun to have been in the car with her when she did that, her reaction was probably priceless.
+1 ..

Nice picture of the Malibu, but those calipers need painting. I can see the nasty brown from here. Should just paint them a nice black, nothing flashy.

wow that is crazy, maybe she nosed up to curb, though she had more to go then put the wheel over just giving more gas not realizing the curb? would explain miminal damage to the car? Nice black Malibu though, awesome car

LOL The funniest thing I have ever seen like this was when someone took a turn at an intersection too fast and hit a power pole. BUT instead of running headlong into the power pole the car managed to travel up the guidewire supporting the pole and came to rest with its rear bumper on the sidewalk and the whole care stuck on the wire. I know someone with me took pictures but sadly I don't have them. The picture below isn't what I saw but it's quite similar.
