How about the Daewoos that had the "D-Tec" motor... (which is lame but at least it sortof goes with the Daewoo)
The rebadged Chevrolet motors have "E-Tec" in place, which is totally lame.

IIRC, it is only Australia that uses kw power ratings...
There is also PS [metric horsepower] in Europe, and JIS in Japan, but those ratings are very, very similar to the domestic hp measurement.
GM is more or less completely metric nowadays, maybe a SAE nut or bolt here and there, but the engineering dimensions of everything are metric...
