When is GM going to finally get serious about heavy duty pickups? Ford & Dodge are killing them in this arena. They are missing out on a large segment of the truck business.

I'm not going to hold my breath...

How is "Dodge" (it's Ram now, FYI) killing them in the HD pickup segment? Ford, you can make the sales case, but even then, there is still the argument to be made that the GM HD's are just as good or better of a product.

Ram isn't killing anything. They sell more 1-ton Dually's than Chevy. Big deal, Chevy sells more 3/4 tons than they do.

GM has very competitive products in the 3/4 and 1-ton segments. GM just needs a class 4/5 chassis cab to top off their commercial offering. Fleets like to keep as much similarity as possible. If they buy Ford 450's and 550's, they are more likely to purchase a Ford 150, 250 or 350. Ford and Ram can accommodate that. GM at the moment, can't.

I've been making that point for a while, hopefully someone at GM will listen.
Do you mean medium duty trucks? GM's 2500/3500 trucks are very competitive. I love mine.
