BMR, known in the fbody community as a maker of great suspension parts has put together an 11 sec GTO. With a little help of the happy gas, sticky tires, and extensive suspension modification, this car hit high 11's.

You are right, 11 seconds doesn't sound like much when you combine nitrous and an LS1 but keep in mind this car weighs 3980 lbs with driver, is only running a 125hp nitrous kit and does it on small 275 BFG Drag Radials, not slicks. It also still has the stock cast iron exhaust manifolds and exhaust. With a little more tuning, the car has since ran [email protected] with a 1.61 60 ft. Headers, exhaust and tuning will put this car in the 10's.

Only babies are bottle-fed.

True tuning prowess can only assert itself on naturally aspirated buildups.

The bloody thing should make an easy 500horses at the crank with good heads and a halfway decent cam. More than that if little Vizard-style tricks are used.

Get a set of sticky tires and make it hook, and bam. Mid-11s, NA, for less than $5k

Ok, $5K vs. $1K, do the math. Another $1k and the car is running 10's for $3K less than your NA 11 second LS1. Nitrous has always been controversial and I like fast NA cars too but not everybody can afford that route.
