GM's China commercial vehicle JV opens new plant
General Motors said on Monday its commercial vehicle venture in China opened a second plant in the eastern city of Qingdao to meet robust demand for its products.
The new facility,run by SAIC-GM-Wuling,which is a three way tie-up among GM,SAIC,and Liuzhou-Wuling Automobile has annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles.More at the link:http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idCNTSHA4368920080331?rpc=44
