The concept Buick Centieme is built on Lambda architecture.

If the GMC vehicle looks anything like the Centieme they threw it to the entirely wrong brand. It should have stayed in Pontiac.
But I realize that vehicles that share the same platform can look very different.
The GMC should be "professional grade" with cut lines and sharp edges. It should continue the ruggedness of GMC vehicles that have made it successful. After all, it is having record sales. GM should not introduce a vehicle that takes this brand to a new direction.

A small, 4WD offroad SUV/Wagon with rugged lines and power would be a good fit in the GMC lineup though.
