Any one know why GM never putted out any of there good looking concepts like the ''High Desert’', ''Cheyenne'',''Polaris ACE Concept'' or the ''Black Ops'' on the Silverado and how about that Colorado ''ZR2''?......Personally I think all of these concepts GM has shown us is really nice and I think it make the Silverado line up so much better

Also I seen today GM has trademarked ''Z71 Trail Boss'' What could this package be for? The Colorado or Silverado? Did anyone hear anything about this package???

And also why isn't there A canyon denali

There was a discussion not to long ago on this site that there will be a canyon denali soon.Fingers crossed.
Too early for a ZR2 or a Denali Canyon. My bet is they are coming. The truck hasn't even been on lots for 3 months yet, and the diesel isn't available yet either. I'm in a hurry to see a Denali Canyon as well, but I think we all need a bit more patience with the mid-size trucks.

As far as the full-size options, dunno. Maybe GM just doesn't have the stones to offer something like that with a warranty...? They'll never answer that question, so we'll never really know why they don't make some of those concepts. They have no problems kicking out a new sticker/paint package every month though (even though NO ONE is asking for those).
z Fury, How has your Saab 9-7x been treating you.I so wanted to buy one in 2008.

Actually the accounting department in the RenCen is requesting those.

I like it, to be honest. It is basically a 3SS Trailblazer SS with Saab badges, so it is absolutely loaded (minus the NAV and rear-seat entertainment). Gas mileage is as advertised, which is really the only drawback I've run into thus far. I just put new tires on it in October, and they weren't as pricey as I thought they'd be. I will have to sell it this spring for personal reasons though. I'll miss it when it is gone, but the truck I inherited from my dad is far more valuable to me than my Saab (I don't have the space to keep them all).
A. Many of those concepts trucks aren't developed by GM. They're by second party vendors trying to sell their products.

B. I find that many of GM's concepts aren't even as practical, extreme, cool as other companies regular production vehicles. And like everybody complains about, they're mostly sticker/graphic/color packages that don't draw as much excitement as other vehicles.

Until somebody at GM grows a pair, we're stuck with boring truck offerings. Don't get me wrong - I like my Denali, but GM needs to take some lessons from Ford and Ram on specialty vehicles.
Concepts are usually a mixed bag of tricks.
Offering glimpses of future design, technology and drive train.
No guarantee that all or any of it will ever reach production.

If you are upset about GM just think about the Jeep guys. Jeep has been teasing them with truck and diesel concepts for 10-20 years.
Z71 Trail Boss will most likely be another sticker and shock package.
